Hey, do you also forget to take screenshots during development? Then when you want to post on social media, you do not have the right screenshot from the moment you actually needed.

That is exactly what kept happening to me. So I quickly spun up a small macOS menubar app: FrameKeeper.

It takes screenshots in time intervals and saves them into a folder automatically, so when I want to post progress, I can scroll back and pick the right shot.

## What it does right now

– Runs from the macOS menubar

– Captures every N seconds (with preset and custom intervals)

– Optional Skip When Idle so it does not spam frames when nothing is happening

– Save folder controls (choose/open)

Submitted it to the Appstore … i’ll keep you posted
